Is the Styling Brush gentle on all hair types?
Yes. The bristles are firm enough to smooth flyaways but gentle enough for young scalps and all textures.
Does the Spray Gel work on curly or wavy hair?
Yes. It holds shape and smooths texture on straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair without weighing it down or causing buildup.
Can I use this bundle every day?
Yes, and that's what it's designed for. The Spray Gel is silicone-free and water-based, so it won't build up with repeated use. The Styling Brush and Parting Combs are made for daily styling without pulling or damaging hair.
Do I need to wash the Spray Gel out every night?
No. Brush it out at night and restyle the next morning without washing. No silicones means no heavy buildup between washes. When you do wash, it rinses clean with a gentle shampoo. Most MAEN families wash hair 2-3 times per week and restyle daily in between.
What does the Spray Gel smell like?
Fresh and citrusy. Our custom fragrance, MAEN Squeeze, was developed with a perfumery house in France. It's one of the first things customers mention. IFRA-certified and phthalate-free.
What age is the bundle safe for?
Every age. We have customers using the Spray Gel on kids as young as 18 months. The formula is water-based, gentle, and free of silicones, parabens, and harsh preservatives. The tools are designed for all ages and hair types.
Why is my styling brush shedding a few bristles?
A small amount of shedding is normal with real boar bristles. Because they are natural fibers, not plastic, a few may loosen over time, especially during the first uses. This does not affect performance, and your brush will continue to smooth hair gently and effectively.
